Ardelt is a company with great tradition. Founded in 1902, the Ardelt works manufactured slewing cranes, mobile cranes and railway cranes as well as portal cranes already in the 1930ies. We are specialised in designing and manufacturing highly efficient slewing cranes and gantry cranes. We are the world market leader in the field of double jib level luffing cranes.
VACANCY (M/F/D) CAPACITY PLANNING
Your duties:
- Preparation of a production plan, taking into account capacity, the availability of materials, plus cost and efficiency factors
- Incorporating amendments into the production plan at short notice
- Ensuring that the necessary capacity is available in consultation with other departments, in terms of technical measures and staff availability
- Planning, controlling and monitoring manufacturing orders, also with regard to delivery deadlines
- Optimising planning processes
- Schedule planning in collaboration with our order processing department
- Master data maintenance in the planning systems we use (ERP system)
What we are looking for:
- Graduate of a technical college or successful completion of at least three years of vocational training in an associated subject plus several years of professional experience in a relevant field as well as additional training in a specialist field
- Relevant practical professional experience is required in the fields of production planning or capacity planning
- Basic understanding of technical matters
- Good knowledge of problem-solving and analytical techniques
- Sound knowledge of the latest MS Office applications and experience in the use of ERP systems
- Business-fluent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Self-reliant and structured approach to work
- Analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to communicate with others; flexible approach
- Good communication and cooperation skills, team spirit, resilience, commitment to the task in hand
